Just had net reset

Logged in fine my details but when I do a search

I get thios message

Is the problem their end please ?

I cleared the ipconfigdns/flush

I tried CTRL F5 to no avail

Any ideas as I'd like to make so new reservations

I just booked BKK - Jakarta with AA and every thing went normal. If it not work with your provider try use an Aircard or via cell phone

Much of the time it's the computer your using.I don't know why.I've seen it 100's of times.I would call A friend and he would say it opened up for him with no problem.

Its working via Mozilla but not Chrome my default browser oh the mysterious interwebs,perhaps Tim Berners Lee was on leave while Al Gore invented this glitch

I had this problem using Firefox. Tried using a Proxy - no joy

Reported it to Air Asia - not even the courtesy of an acknowledgement, they just ignored it.

How I dislike this airline.

It finally worked using Internet Explorer and does not seem to be related to the server - my neighbour has the same one and has no difficulty using Firefox + Air Asia, so must be something to do with individual computer settings.

I have got 2 computers and the Airasia website works on 1 computer and not the other. Both computers use the same internet feed, have the same software installed.

Solved. Technical details follow:

Most websites use ports 80 and ports 443.

Airaisa.com is using non standard ports, possibly for .asp.

Home users should not receive this error. If you do check your software firewall and your ADSL firewall. Test by temporarily disabling them. Your ISP may also be doing some traffic shaping that might cause this.

Business environments that only allow ports 80 and 443 with get this error. Airasia.com users will need additional ports opened or they will receive this error.

These ports are often blocked to prevent the use of torrent downloads.

It is not yet clear which port ranges are being used. If I determine this I will add it to this post.
