Hi guys,

I would like to know how much I should pay for a PCX 150 in Bangkok,I live on Srinakarin rd .

I am talking about the black matte model. I have been quoted 79k-81k for it ... I sit correct ?

What documents should I bring with me to buy the bike ?

If you have any good places where I can get it cheaper ...

Thank you very much

There is one on Rama 4 near Sukhumvit for 69,000. Saw it today. It was black but can't say if it was matte

@rimmer, sorry won't happen again

@VocalNeal, thank you very much for the answer , 69 k for a pcx 150 is a good deal .. May I have more details about that place ? Is it a honda dealer ?

Or a second hand shop ?

Thank you :)

Be aware that some quote just the basic price of the bike, some quote the price with registration, insurance, and warranty. Always ask what it includes right up front. It will save you time.

The shop I believe Neal is talking about is not a Honda dealer but that shouldn't matter as the Honda warranty is still valid. Starting at Sukhumvit rd, go down Rama IV and it's about 100 meters on the right hand side. I think I have seen it and it is matte black.

Well, I'm sure you know the BTS skytrain. Get it to Phrakanong station and get out at the Rama 4 side. Walk down rama 4 for about 2 minutes and you will see it.

You clearly have internet access, so find rama 4 on google maps, and use google street view at the beginning of rama 4, you can't miss it.

@ macknife , I search the shop you are talking about and my gf called them , apparently they don't accept cash payment they only do credit .

Anyway thank you so much for your help I think I will buy it on Pattanakarn rd , price 79 000 thb everything included (insurance and the rest ..)

I read on TV that a proof of residence from the immigration was needed to purchase a bike in Thailand. Can anybody confirm ?

This is true, or if you have a work permit, you can just use that.

Yes that is what I thought was very annoying .... I am paying cash ... Maybe a new standard in Thailand ? ... I also try at Sumet , they have a solution but the thing is about the Certificate of residence ... I heard It is more difficult to get one now in Bangkok .
