Just wondering how many of you agree with me that this year England have a great chance of going all the way. My money is definitly on England v Brazil final. (Maybe Germany) but i would like to know your thoughts... i cant wait untill june, although i will be in australia i wonder what sort of time the games will be on tv. and will i need cable?

Holland can go far, they've got some good players but they always seem to fall apart once they're nearly there. :o

donz, did you watch the last world cup in sydney? i was wondering do they show it on channel 7 or 10 ? just normal tv or will i need cable?

The BBC are only showing Englands first match according to that. Isnt that nice of them :D

I think there is an aggreement for the first round games to be shared between BBC and ITV

As to who will win, brain says Brazil, heart says England, Germans are not a force, young team with only one world class player (Ballack) - Home advantage can be a curse if things are not going well for a team. The Dutch always have a talented team but seems they "fall out" over something on the eve of every tourtnament.

My esteemed freind from Derby is correct. The coverage in the UK is split between ITV and the BBC.

Can I bet that England won't reach the semi-final?

Bloody Breeze Blocks! Can I also bet that Scotland won't make it through the qualifying rounds........Oh Wait a moment......they didn't even get that far.............again! :o

My money is on England as long as Sven keeps Rio Ferdinand out of the side. His lapses in concentration are not only alarming but also have been costly to ManU these last two seasons.
