Open up the last one again...... the excuse of 1,000 posts makes really large file it a total pile of tripe.... if that was the case there are many 3 word story, 5 word story etc threads in the main forum that warranted shutting down months ago.

(plus JD has to keep checking back to see if someone has edited his edit)

In a fit of mischief I decided to close the last word just to see what sort of reaction I would get. The last time it was done was by Wolfie who did it as a final act as moderator before returning to the ranks as a member. Out of that there were threads deploring the act and lots of gnashing of teeth and gums. Sadly some members took it too far and lost sight of reality. I wondered if things would be the same or would we grow from the experience. I had no intention to keep the last word thread closed and so I have reopened it and merged the other two into one big amorphous mass that is The Last Word ©. I have also made visible the two posts from Jai Dee and Jockstar - it looked there for a while that we would continue our own last word competition by adding edit comments to each others post.
