I am looking for a comprehensive CD-based Thai-English dictionary (not on-line). I have one already from Thai Software Enterprise that I have been using for two years, but as my Thai has improved I have discovered I cannot always trust it for accuracy in the present time (I believe it is based mainly on texts originally from the 1940's). I don't need transliteration or sound.

Any ideas, anyone.

Many thanks for your help.

www.lingvosoft.com

I am using their dictionary on my WM5 device.

ALso,paiboonpublishing.com do a brilliant one for Palm devices.

also,vervata.com

but from my experience i think its better to learn the actual thai scripts themselves and avoid being lazy by using phonetics!

Of course,it all depends on how much time u can afford to invest.....
