Bangkok cooking classes, in Thai

Featured Replies

Hello. Web searching has only lead me to thai cooking classes in English. I am possibly looking to have my maid take some classes but she would get a lot more out of them being in Thai. Anyone have a lead on classes in Bangkok? My first thought is for thai food, but even some other international food would be great, but in the thai language.

Thanks for any leads.

Chef Leez is very good and she teaches in Thai on request she is married to a Canadian who knows his food. They do one on one classes. they don't do pork in their lessons but I'm sure your maid will learn the basics and then can adapt accordingly.

cordon blue has classes in BKK but they are not cheap, but she will be a top chef when done.

www.ufmeducation.com. Cooking classes are at Sukumvit soi 33. I go there every time I visit Thailand. They teach basic thai cooking. I'm going there in two weeks to take two week long classes. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. about 5,000 baht for a week long class (either morning or afternoon). Check out their schedule. They are different from the tourist classes and they mainly teach in Thai. Thai people go there to learn. I feel out of place (from the US) luckily they speak enough English for me to learn. I've tested the recipes here in the US at the local temples and got the thumbs up from the monks, nuns and old ladies who are cooks and restaurant owners.

Hello Priog,

I know some schools they teach in Thai language such as Yingsak , Wandee and UFM. For me I would recommend Wandee โรงเรียนครัววันดี.

By the way, I open cooking school in Chiang Mai for small group or private class with reasonable price. I trained from Thai culinary school and 5-star hotel in Chiangmai. If you plan to come to visit Chiangmai and interested in Thai cooking, please check out my website www.chiangmaithaicooking.com

Thank you
