This popped up in one of my FB feeds.

Guy is selling it for 47k invoice bike

I am not interested but had never heard of this bike &

I must say it is quite a pretty little classic looking cafe style bike isn't it?

Very pretty cafe racer, do you have a link to the seller?

Yes here it is...

https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100005014325959&hc_location=stream

But like I said I do not know this person or even where he is in Thailand as I did not read his page.

I just saw this thru a feed I get called bigbikemarket.com on FB that also listed his ph# 0846551330

Looks nice mania. Seems they have the engine of a 250cc Virago. I found this picture of a SRV i like more, it looks more "solid". But to be honest, i am not a cafe racer fan, maybe thats the problem. I like real fenders that keep the dirt and rain away wink.png

EDIT:

Seems this is the "SRV250 Classic" while in the OP its the "SRV250 Renaissia". Some more info at http://luckyandwild.blogspot.com/2012/01/what-hell-is-yamaha-srv250.html

That is cool too Wantan thanks

When I see some older bikes especially smaller capacity bikes.

It reminds me of older architecture.

40 years or more? ago they built many small homes in the US

I think they were called craftsmen cottages.

Even though they were small they had very cool complex roof designs.

Bike & engines like these remind me of them.

The builders seemed to look at the bike as a whole & worked to make them look

very nice/flowing design wise.

Only a smallish engine but a V twin with thought given to exhaust design/aesthetics

etc.

Very nice

Looks like the bike is being nicely rebuilt, maybe not all the parts went on it yet?

True & now that you mentioned it I do see the front brake lever etc. missing

would not be too fun with just that little back drum brake :)

There is one always parked on the sidewalk/pavement on Rama 4 at the Prakanong end. Also a Cafe Racer

I thought it was a 180 twin like the old ones in Sing. I'll have a closer look next time I walk to the hardware store next door.
