Applying for a FDA License in Thailand.

Hello to all,

I am looking to initially import food to Thailand and if things go well I plan on producing it here. I started reading about applying for a FDA license but the information found is very generic. Has anyone here applied for such a license? What are the costs, time frame?

I plan on going to the FDA ministry to get more detailed information but would be nice to hear any personal experiences.

What kind of food are you planning to import? Send PM, if you like.

Good luck with dealing with the FDA. From all that I have seen and heard it takes at least 2 years to get anything done with them. They are not the easiest people to deal with so you will need to be patient while waiting.
