looking for an endocrinologist, chon buri, especially in si racha

Featured Replies

Hello to everyone.

I'm looking for a good doctor(endocrinologist, therapist for transexual people ...) for my girlfriend.

Someone who can help her with HRT, make her some liver tests ... completely manage her health.

Please, only serious responses ...

Men, who live with these great women, where do yours girlfriends go to the doctor?

Do they have own doctor?

Thank you.

I will move this to the Health forum where it will get the attention that it needs and where there are professionals who can point you in the right direction.

I'm not looking for a surgeon.
She doesn't want SRS neither any other operation.

I want a medical treatment for her, because she has
depressions, anxiety, headaches, sometimes she feels weak
and I think it's caused by hormones that she takes.

I want a doctor or therapist who knows something about how to treat
a transexual, someone who can at least manage her HRT ... endocinologist, sexuologist, practise doctor.
I don't know.

I'm really worried about my princess.
If you have experince with these stuff, please response.
Thank you.

It might greatly help anyone to seriously respond if you provided a location.

Where were the "hormones" obtained ?

If prescribed why not return to the same doctor?

If not prescribed then a good place to start would be to purchase a "health check up " package from one of the private/not for profit hospitals.

Sheryl

Your encyclopaedic knowledge of health care facilities in Thailand continues to amaze me !

Private hospitals should not be required for proper hormone treatment from my understanding as during the time my wife used Chula Hospital in Bangkok there was one day each week when almost all the patients were transgender so believe they are afforded medical treatment even if they can not change ID card gender. But this is only what I observed and was told to me (for hormone treatment/testing) so perhaps there were other reasons for that day of the week being transgender.

Ok, thank you guys ... I will definitely check out hospitals in Si Racha, sadly I didn't find any month package "suitable" for ladyboys.

Namely I was looking for something like WPATHwise package, or a doctor who has many(maybe even exclusively) TS patients in this area.

Maybe there's something smilliar, we will see ...

Sheryl thanks for your tip about Pattaya trasition clinic, but I don't think that's ever gonna happen.

She is not much a pattaya fan.

I came here because I thought I will find someone who has a long-term relationship with a ladyboy, or date exclusively ladyboys and

he/they can give me some advice about this. Someone like me, but older and much more experienced ...

Unfortunately the sort of thing you are looking for is more likely to be found in Pattaya or in Bangkok.

The clinic in Pattaya is specific to hormone therapy and thus seemed best suited to the needs.

In Sri Racha the two main private hospitals are Phyathai Sri racha and Samitivej Sri Racha. Both are very good hospitals. At Phyathai they do SRS so presumably their endocrinologist(s) would have experience with hormone therapy for transsexuals. Suggest you email their international Coordinator Gavin at [email protected], he is very helpful.

you might also consult some of the surgeons in the area who do SRS as they must have endocrinologists they work with/refer to. Try Dr. Suporn http://www.supornclinic.com/ (I realize you are not looking for SRS, but these people would be able to recommend an endocrinologist).

None of this is going to yield a clinic specifically for transgender health needs, but you may be able to find an endocrinologist with the appropriate expertise.

In Bangkok I believe there are some more comprehensive clincs for transgenders.

The Silom Community Clinic at Bkk Christian Hospital is specifically geared towards the LGBT community, though I think with more of a focus on HIV and STD prevention http://www.silomclinic.in.th/ (site is only in Thai)

Thank you sheryl for information. I appreciate you helping me.

I worte a mail to Gavin, maybe he will help me.

Phyathai is relatively expensive facility ... and I'm not willing to pay thousand and thousand bahts for that.

Girlfriend has health insurence, so there can be something in public hospital too

The best government hospital in the Chonburi area is Somdej - Sriracha. You could try there if the other options prove too expensive.
