First information may indicate that this is a ferry under service and not in active service, but this is not confirmed.

According to a report on Channel 3, the fire was on a ferry undergoing repairs at a pier in Lipa Noi sub-district of Koh Samui in Thailand at about 9:20 a.m. The fire spread quickly and completely engulfed the boat. There were no reports of any injuries. The cause of the fire is unknown at the moment.

Need to burn the rest of dilapidated fleet only a matter of time before a major incident. Same with the green boat Seatran use's it will will be a tomb down on those bottom deck's. I won't go on the green boat even if I'm in line 1 time was enough.

Looks like the boat is just about finished its maintenance regimen....

Should be ready to sail by tomorrow...from the looks of things... whistling.gif

Definitely much improved over the pre-maintenance version. tongue.png
