2010 125 PCX How much?

Featured Replies

What's a fair price for a 2010 125 PCX in good condition with about 20K miles? It's being offered at 48 thousand baht.

Thanks!

Pardon my French here but whoever is listing a PCX 125 used at that price are <deleted> n mental. I will sell you my own PCX 150 2012 with only 9400K on the odometer for that price. Walk away as quickly as you you can.

I just checked baht&sold, see below:

3 year old, 30.000km = 38k baht

3year, 20.000km= 44k baht

3year, (good cond??)= 55k baht

3year, 7000km= 58k baht

??old, 16000km= 47k baht.

2012 150cc 12500km, 50k baht = sold

I will also say too much if you can get a 150cc 1 year old for 50k baht.

I just sold a Yamaha Fino 2009 with 18k km on the clock for 18500 baht and it was a private sale, 2 dealers offered me 15k baht and 13k baht so if you see a pcx125 for much more than 35k baht, don't buy it but go for a 2012 150cc.

If you can, take your time. I am seeing many new PCX bikes in Pattaya so that should depress prices further.

Not exact comparrison but I really like the new Honda CBR250; I have found some 2010, non ABS, models for 70 to 75 thousand.

You might also check out some of the thai second hand web sites, I have found prices there to be a bit lower probaly because of relatively higher supply.

Motorcycle.in.th lists 69,800 as a good price for a new PCX125i (Yeah, some dealers tack on a premium.)

Therefore, I would think 35 to 40 thousand would be a fair price.

I just bought a PCX 125 ,registered Dec 2010 in Chiang Mai for B46,000 ( asking B49,900 ) .It has only 10,000 km ,white color and in absolute show room condition ,with service history .It also had upgraded suspension ( the one weak point on the PCX .)

I had been looking several weeks as there are very few s/h PCXs offered for sale around Chiang Mai .

I just traded my 2010 (18k km) 125PCX for 35000 Baht at a local dealer when buying new 150 model. Yes I might have got more privately and I could probably have squeezed a little more out of the dealer but a write-down of 1k/month seems pretty reasonable to me. No doubt it will be on the forecourt at 45k+ very shortly!

Can't understand why people would buy a PCX 125 when the PCX 150 is out there. ermm.gif

Cost, probably.
