HD tv repair in issan

Featured Replies

Does anybody know of a place that can repair HD TVs in the Issan area? I am located in Roiet but will travel to get it done. It is a Thompson TV I brought over from the UK, but I figure if they can fix it if they can fix other brands. I am hoping that they can interchange parts.

The Panasonic Shop (amongst other brands) on soi 42 in Ubon fixed my LG flat screen before and other electrical appliances and seemed pretty switched on.

I know a shop in Sisaket who're doing a pretty good job. When you're coming from the market, cross Ubon Rd., go straight ( you'll see" Wat Luang" on the left hand side).

Go straight for about one kilometer and look for the shop on the left hand side. You'll see a lot of TV's and satellite dishes outside.

Good luck.-wai2.gif

Thanks for the replies. It looks like i need to travel a fair bit for the repair, so I'll need to do it on a weekend. Somewherer in Roiet or Maha Sarakham would be better, but past experience tells me that it is unlikely that I'll find some where closer.

Cheers

Hi Nellyp,

I am sure that given the amount of flat screen TV's around and the decent population base of Roi Et that there must be a at least a few places in town that would be able to fix it.

Driving to Ubon and staying a night (or 2) and driving back again would set you back at least half of a new one!

But you could drive to Sisaket, pop by Nong Mek and have some Archas with guys you've met before.-wai2.gif

I think Ubon is out as I never go there, Sisaket is a posiibility. I find Thai repair people will tell you they can fix something they know nothing about, so I would like to use somebody that has been recommended.

Cheers

What ever you do dont bother going to any samsung service centres ! a shop I left my five year old 40'' samsung for repairs sent it to ubon, their repair quote was over 12,000 baht.
