We are talking 20,000bht a week on food just for her cooked at home.

She eats more than us all put together.

A typical meal is 1/2 kg of meat with rice and raw veggies, during that she is talking about having a whole sea bass fish for desert.

If your food bill is Bht20K a week she's either buying from Selfridges and having it delivered by courier or she's buying her mother's and extended family's food on your bill.

I do a huge biweekly shop at Tesco, including Liptons, Nivea and other western items, big bags of prime pork fillet, chicken breast, ribs, and prawns, four or five cakes and other treats from the bakery, and every sort of fruit and vegetable and I have never had a till receipt over 2,000 THB.

The baht may be off but I am sure the op is accurate about the quantity of food.

Apart from the health aspects of eating too much, would you want to be married to an over weight wife? I suggest you try and make her realize that eating so much is unhealthy and will ultimatly lead to health and weight problems. Most Thai women would not be keen on you looking at other women and you might suggest you may look for a new wife If she gets really fat... That should work!

I have noticed a number of Thai female friends are conscious of being over weight and thus not being attractive as a result. To my surprise they have gone on diets. look is everything in Thailand so is a Good angle to work on!

I believe he is based in the UK yes,so it's quite feasible if he is shopping for Thai products in the UK then his shopping bill is going to sky rocket,after all it's extremely difficult to find certain products outside of the major cities like London and Birmingham etc.

The cost of thai rice alone is enough to make you cry.
