Sriburin Hospital - Promotional Health Check Ups

Featured Replies

Greetings Trend Setters

Was at Sriburin for a dental appointment last week and noticed they have a "Mothers Day"

promotion for medical check ups.

The packages start from 1500 Baht, reduced from 3380 so some decent

savings are available. Maybe get a 2 for 1 with the other half.

It's probably something we should all do but one of those things we usually put off.

Anyway, it's on until 31 September and is available for anyone, not just motherssmile.png

We all need to do physical exam each year. I have reviewed the Sriburin promotion and it does not amount to much. for example men need the PSA Prostate test and it is not included. Last year the price was 1000 Baht. The doctor does not sit down and review the results they simply mail them to you. The bone density test for us old people is usless as we know what our bones are like.

Notice for women the pap smear or mammogram add on is very expensive.

It is not such a bad deal but still lacking so you need to think carefully about what your requirements are. If you go to the hospital ill and they do this blood work they stick it to you really bad.

An alternative to this is the Medical Lab near the Chiang Rai Hospital. Their rates for blood work and other things are much cheaper. Not sure they do the EKG or Xray.

Lastly, I am told that the Army Hospital with a doctor examining you will do it much cheaper.

Overbrook has several check up packages also. I have done checkups there several times over the years and found it to be well organized and overall well done. After all the tests a doctor sits and goes over it all with you. Plus they have a couple of very cute nurses to smile and make your heart rate go up a few beats.

No appointment is needed. You just show up about 8;30 am and ask for health checkup...and don't eat or drink for ten/twelve hours before. Entire process from start to finish only takes about two/three hours.

Brochures showing the various options are available at front drive up desk at overbrook...mostly in Thai but easy to figure out as the test names are in English.
