Leeds draw with Reading was enough to send the Blades into the Premeiership.

YYYYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!

Thanks TP your Reading boys did the job for us today. Watched the Cardiff game last night in Chiang Mai. If we are going to stay up we need to improve a huge amount. Anyway enough of the downside we are up and right now that's all that matters.

Best of luck next year to Reading hopefully we can both miss the drop and build good runs in the premiership.

Up the Blades.

The Play-offs are a lottery.

I think that whoever makes it will have a job to stay up...having said that West Ham went up through them last year and look at the season they are having!!

Who's going to join them? Watford look the most consistant.

Preston have the best current form. Won their last 3 or 4 games. Marlon King at Watford is a class striker who could do the deed for Watford. Also he is suspended until the playoffs so should be well rested and raring to go.

However as TP says it's a lottery glad we don't have to go through that again.

a lottery indeed , and a nail biting one too.

all the playoff teams have remarkably similar statistics and anybody could go up.

as a leeds fan i want them to be the one , but i know that they are not strong enough to hold a place in the premiership yet , so i'd be content to wait a year and go up next year passing the blades as they come back down. :o

big watford fan here!

anyone know of places / tv channels in Bangkok / Chiang Mai that may be showing the playoffs?

Cheers

It has been an odd season in the Premiership with no 'true' roses clashes (I know some people see Middlesborough as Yorkshire but I don't)

This will give even more chances to display Lancastrian superiority over our less cultured Yorkshire rivals.

Well done the Blades.

As you will guess from the avatar I'm a Derby fan and last year the play off games featuring Derby and Preston were shown live on Thai TV in the 'early hours'. I think it was ch3 but it could have been ch7 Maybe Watford will feature this time

Warnock is going to have to learn to keep his gob shut next season or he will be watching most of the games from the stands next year!!

  • 2 weeks later...

nothing i would like to see more than leeds back in the premiership with a strong team , but even if they get through the playoffs and go up , i cant see them lasting , they will be back down in a year , like sunderland.

leeds , sadly , have a long way to go before they are premiership material.

Warnock is going to have to learn to keep his gob shut next season or he will be watching most of the games from the stands next year!!

:D

Warnock learn to keep his gob shut! He already has his spot in the Arnold Laver Stand.

As for all you Leeds fans

:o:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

Well done Reading for the points total thing and

COME ON YOU MIGHTY BLADES.

Going up, staying up.
