Meaning of A Figure.

Every November I think, they have a big parade in Nathon with floats etc......

Leading the parade is a costumed made up person to look like this image.

What does the character of that image represent? I think it's Southern Thailand related.

I think its "Ai-Taeng", one of the multiple characters of any "Nang Talung". Quite funny when you understand southern thai language.

There is a small statue of that guy here in Plai Laem at one of the restaurants.

Most of the restaurant/land owners in that area are from Nakon S T. One of the land owners looks just like him!

It's the joker character from the shadow plays. Originally from Phatthalung. According to my 10yr old daughter at least.
