NRL is Surin town (Setanta)

Hello,

I will be in Surin town this weekend and there are some NRL games I do not want to miss! They are usually shown via Setanta Sports.

Are there any bars in Surin which show the NRL / Setanta?

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

At this point the best place would be the Farang Connection. The Sports Bar has that newer cable network CTH ?? and maybe Setanta is not available on it. The Green Mango is a complete waste of time as the Thai lady operator could not afford to pay her True Vision bill and now there is no television available. As an fall back check with the Oasis bar that is between the Sports Bar and The Green Mango right across the bus park from the F.C. Failing those options I suggest you get to know one of the local lads and maybe he will invite to his home or forget about Surin and your plans to watch those matches.

The Farang Connection would have it for sure... they have two large screen TV's there. Also the FC is located at the bus station, easy to find and if you don't have transport it's an easy walk from the three main hotels.

I don't know if the Living Room has Setana, they are a little out of central Surin, still in town but only just. I have heard great things about the people, food and drink there (have to get off my butt and try it), so maybe they have good sports too. Here's their phone number I guess you can call them to find out.

I was in Surin in April. Excuse me as I'm surely wrong, but I thought the Farang Connection was on a side road a couple of hundred meters, maybe approximately East.

My idea of directions which is probably wrong, and I was never actually in the bus station but I saw it. From the bus station walk South maybe 50 meters to a road going to your left. Walk down that road maybe 150 meters or so to the Farang Connection.

Now, I only ate at the Farang Connection, and drove in from the other direction, but I don't recall it being right next to the bus station, per se. IIRC it would be an easy walk of only maybe 200 meters, but back down that side road?

???
