My missus used to have the same problem way back then. I suggested it was rude and she didn't get the message. I walked out of the bar we were in and left her there with the bin, she didn't even notice me leave for over an hour according to my mates - I went to WS and rocked home to stony silence at 2AM after not answering her repeated calls.

Next morning I told her I was bored and she was ignoring me by playing with her cellphone - som nom na.

It happened again about a month later. I told her it was rude, got ignored, left her with the bin, and went to LK metro. Rocked home at 3AM - she pretended to be asleep.

Hasn't happened again.

The missus now understands the theory of cause and effect.

Was in a coffee shop in BKK the other day.

Lots of young Thai girls meeting for a coffee except none of them were chatting to each other heads buried in phones, tablets and laptops.

One pair didn't even acknowledge each other when the second one came in. Not even a glance up. Just stuck in the phone, coffee ordered, left without having spoke a word 10 minutes later.

What's the point in meeting?

The only gripe I have is people who are typing whilst walking in a mall or on a busy street.

You are only talking about her looks, what about her personality? Do you know her a little bit? I mean, do you know what she likes (outside the bedroom) what moves her, what makes her smile, laugh, cry, sad, what gets her excited? Any idea? Find out what she would like to do together with you. Gym? Daily Jogging or other sports? Weekend trips, games, you should find an activity where you both get closer, can exchange thoughts, ideas, dreams... the future... what so ever...You should try to get to learn her better, if she gets the feeling that you have a deeper interest in her than just her just her looks, the sex and that she is Thai... you may see what a change it makes and that she will loose interest in her phone...

Get a better phone than her. Sit fiddling with it all night. Make calls and pretend to talk to people. Get friends to phone you. Send yourself messages and read them and laugh. See how jealous she gets when you keep doing that and getting all those messages. She'll no know you sent them yourself.
