Patong Deli?

What's happening/happened to the Patong Deli? Is it gone or just having a refurb?

They are closed on Sundays, and the last time I was there they were doing a rehab. Hope they're sticking around.

Pretty sure they HAD a website. Can't find It now

Still around and just in the finishing stages of a refurb, then adding a separate restaurant next door.

They had the Phuket monopoly for any cheese that wasn't cheddar for years and years.

They had a great selection and they charged like a wounded bull for a tiny slice.

Back in the days when I shopped there I found that his cheese and cold cut prices were quite reasonable. Even when Carrefour opened I continued to shop there as he was cheaper for cheese and deli counter products. But he took a major hit when Carrefours opened, and now Villa Market. I've completely stopped shopping there due to the long duistance round the one way system to get there. And once there I cannot find any car parking space anywhere near the shop. Sad ....
