I just paid Baht200 a mtr for the better quality galvanized one that they fabricate on the spot.

I was told the ugly low price thinner metal type is baht 180 a mtr.

I am led to believe that galvanised steel is prone to rust and requires maintenance whereas aluminium is rust-resistant material popular with newer installations. It is for this reason that I am keen on aluminium guttering. If anyone has that per metre price for aluminium guttering that I can use as a buying guide I would be most obliged.

I think you should be looking for Stainless Steel, not aluminum?

How much is the cost per metre for a good quality supply and fit of stainless steel guttering? If this is the standard product used in Thailand then I would be keen to use it.

Has anyone painted their metal gutters? I'd like to put in gutters on my new house, but I find the aluminum or galvanized steel gutters look so ugly. If I could paint them to match my house and solve the rust problem at the same time, I'd be a happy camper. Any advice appreciated.

I have mine painted no problem. Just ask for the correct type of paint for the gutters.
