Good pix, was there for Songkran, and it was pretty wild. When I stay at the Rimpao I usually run in that park in the 5th picture down. I forgot my camera (again), but a friend took a lot of pix.

You know one of my favorite things about being retired here is the abilty to get on the bike and just go exploring, you don't always find thriving cities but you do find out what the real Thailand or should I say Issan is. You also find honest hard working pwoplw who enjoy being around you for more then your money. But to each his own

You are making our home in Issan look far too good... If everyone knows how nice it is here, we will have to make room for many more Farangs.... Just kidding.... I have lived in Kalasin for about 3 years now and truly love it here... True we have no Lotus, Big C or Makro, but it is just much nicer, quieter, cleaner and much less conjested than most cities of it's size...
