1st retirement extension - is 2 weeks left on visa enough?

Featured Replies

I have 2 weeks left on my non O visa. Is that enough time for me to apply for my first retirement extension at Chiang Mai immigration?

Also is parking now available at the garage across the road from immigration?

Any assistance appreciated.

If you are talking about 2 weeks left on your permission to stay , yes you can apply for the extension.

Yes, two weeks is enough. Don't know about parking.

Technically you can apply for your extension up until the last day of your current permission to stay. Not that you would want to cut it that close. You could have applied as early as 30 days early as well. There is no downside to applying early as you lose no days on your extension; it starts starting from your current permission to stay date.
