Shaggy is the 1st photo a crop of a panorama?

There's a distinct line in the clouds.

Not nit picking or anything just wondered what may have caused it.

Well spotted mate,standard 3x2 image.Bad editing

Had originally planned on cropping the original photo down because the sky was a bit blown out.

Moodied up the sky on the crop but then decided I liked the full frame but forgot to touch up that right hand corner facepalm.gif

I don't think I have posted this before. Edinburgh Castle.

I left the untinkered-with version as an attachment just for comparison.

Parisian street market, close to Bir Hakeim

attachicon.gif_DSC1271 (Large).jpg

18 tungsten light bulbs.

60w?

18x60=1080w

Use decent led cell bulbs @ 6w

6x18=108w

1080-108=972W/ph saving on electricity.

Quite a saving without losing luminous flux. coffee1.gif

^^^ Might be worth getting a pan out and searching in there, could be a goldmine.

I remember being stuck in a town east of Perth trying to hitch hike out of town, seeing these ponds, Coul Gouly or some thing that... (back in the 80's)

It was one of my longest waits to get out of "Dodge" hitch hiking between Sidney and Perth.... even the start of the Nullabor (sp) was easier!

Do they still use cyanide to separate the gold.... which also kills birds that unwittingly swop down for water... then nose dive dead a few seconds later ? sad.png

It's the Singh-Ray Gold 'n Blue polariser making the gold effect on the water.
