Is anyone experiencing internet connection problems right nor with tot? On the island thanks

Get a quicker answer from here than calling their office lol

Been told by my friend that tot told him that the line is down till 3 pm as the line is broken in khanom

Yes TOT line is down in Sant Thani, Ban Tai.

Yep, my TOT ADSL in Nathon also down, coudn't be arsed to call them yet. My old AIS dongle is going faster than ever though, still a good fallback.

Yes, down in Taling Ngam since this morning. There seems to be a network problem and according to BKK will be fixed around 5 p.m.

Couldn't believe it net was off for most of the day. Regardless was riding past so stopped to pay 400 as we have just moved and they couldn't take my money. After i passed out and came to had to check was still in thailand ja ja hahaha

tot is a joke, can't even make a skype call or stream low bitrate talking radio... had them here several times, all working fine they said, yeah right...

changed the modem, new one's wifi signal range is like 5 meters... well done....

just cancelled my totf2u line and moved back to 3bb, so probably tot will sort it out and 3bb will go tits up (last time I changed 3bb to tot this is what basicly happend)

near Soi Reggae, behind Laem Din Hotel..... I'm doing my business on line as well, reliability and connection to Europe most important issue for me too.... inside Thailand all pretty good but toward Holland crap....

Yeah any international line speeds are throttled but every I.S.P worldwide does that raises profits that's all that matters not keeping the customers that are the link to the profit ha ja ja What router do you have? Has gotta be 1 of 2 things I'd put my money on. The router is just having a meltdown somewhere or there is a heap of noise on the line making the router throw itself. If its DSL of course

modem is the GPON ONU model: AN 5506-04, says made in China so at least noone is listening / monitoring what I do

I've read in another tread something about noise in the signal but that sounded like a bit to much work / investigation to figure out for a lazy user like me?

Correct me if im wrong but if my nerd brain is sending the right signals you have a fibre connection so noise on the phone line won't be a issue as a phone line isn't used! :0 And very surprising the fibre network on this island is surprisingly quite good. U have cancelled your T.O.T acc you said yes?

I saw both TOT and 3 BB crews working on lines between Maenam and Bophut today...

Not had problems with 3 bb, myself, but assume some have!

Yep. Both 3bb and TOT have been pretty naff at my place for the last week or so.

Usually when one provider 'hangs' I can swap to the other one. However, lately, they have both been 'hanging' and I have had to resort to the AIS MIFI. (So much easier than a dongle.)

For a back up - the MIFI is pretty good. It even works for those pretend computers (Macs/ipads etc)
