There's SK? money exchange near the iron bridge and also one on Loy Kroh road opposite where the Olde Bell pub used to be.

Ask first for a premium on advertised rates.

It's opposite the pub that's no longer there. Is that anywhere near the hotel that was demolished?

It is not close to the defunct OB further 100 meters east. Its next door the Paradise bar..

There is no Central World in Chiang Mai.

SK, rates are better depending on the time of day. The schedule is posted. Mornings you get the lowest rate.

SK is on Charoen Prathet Rd. just off of Loi Khro.

Only talking about my knowledge of changing large amounts of £50 & £20 notes in major banks.

Make sure they don't have any writing on them and are fairly clean, otherwise they are likely to be refused.

There's one opposite the Irish Pub I think, maybe check their rates.

I went there a little while ago and got ฿50 when most other places were offering between 47 and 48.5!

There is one directly opposite where the Olde Bell used to be and it gives better rates than the one you're talking about!!!
