Looking for a good restaurant to celebrate Loh Krathong

Already tried the usual Riverside and Good View fully booked.

Any suggestions not just on the river but anywhere would be appreciated.

The Art Cafe used to open up the third floor and do a buffet with a great view of all the lanterns and goings on at Thapae Gate. It is a really nice view.

River Market is a very good option.

It's possible that Dave is doing a fixed price buffet deal again, but chose not to share it on this forum, for understandable reasons.

Getting there by car can be a little tricky; approach from Charoen Prathet road going North and see how far you get.

River Market was excellent last year,good buffet food, band and of course prime position to view all the activities. We deliberately went early and access and parking wasn't a problem ,it was getting out where the fun started.Its had become a highly congested walking street and we still have burn marks where rockets landed on the roof and bonnet......beware. You have little hope of getting a tuk tuk so the only answer is I guess is to park a long away way and walk.
