So first of all... is Chiang Mai the city or province? What is A. Mueang? (is the card mispelt, should it be Muang?)

For example amazon.uk asks for Town/City, then County (province I assume). Which is which?

Muang means the city (central Amphur in the province)

You have the same in other provinces.

Muang Suratthani, means the city Surattani in Suratthani province.

Spelling can be both.
