Thaksin once described himself, rather modestly, as Asia's Nelson Mandela.

I can assure you there were plenty of young women in assorted sexy red outfits, plenty of young Thai guys there too.

So the big question I want to ask the OP is ... were they against PTP's Amnesty-Bill, because it pardons Abhisit & Suthep & the Army, or for it because it clears Thaksin ?

Or did they want to still have their cake, while eating it, at the same time ?

The Red-Shirt masses' reaction to their being sold out by their leadership seems (to me) to be a very interesting question, and perhaps a sign of where their movement might go, in future.
