While we're on the topic could you guys suggest the model number of some hi-rez monitors.

I am looking for something like DELL U2412M24

Also I have used Samsung in the past.

Agree 100% about Razor. I am very happy with their products.

I just bought a Samsung 21.5"

LS22D300HY/XT

I like it

Does 1920x1080  resolution & has HDMI or analog input

Price is not bad too at JIB

http://www.jib.co.th/web/index.php/product/readProduct/13278/5/index.html

LG & Acer also has something similar at that price.

I have always had good luck with Samsung so went with them

Also has a 3 year warranty

As an aside I have been really happy with JIB

Good prices & very professional as well as having everything

Is it for gaming and do you bother about input lag? If so you'd be better off with a TN panel with 1ms response time.

That should cut down your reaction time by roughly a third, if you play FPS games online things like this matter.

If it's for photo editing stick with IPS.

Fully concur on JIB. They are my go to guys after many years with Jedi Cool.

I insist on Lian Li cases & Seasonic PSU.

I don't play games but have had High Def monitors for many years.

1080 p is not high def. More like 1200. Most models numbers begin with U for ultra sharp.

Here is one. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005JN9310/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1QI4NHBS3A5P5&coliid=I16PGASK4VF46K

Yes I realized after I posted & then looked at the other DELL U2412M24

you mentioned :)

I knew then you were after a higher end Monitor than I suggested

I will look next time I am out if I see the type you mentioned as I would

like to see how they look.

I admit I did not look/study much before buying as I just wanted 1080 &

20-ish size

Thanks for the link

Building a Gaming PC tends to make ppl overkill

What u actually need for a rig that runs single montior at 1080p

MSI B85 G43 Gaming + i5-4460
GSKills Ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit
WD Blue 1tb
Crucial MX100 SSD 256gb
Asus R9 290 4gb DCUII or go for 290X (Reason being GPU nowadays tends to be quite future proof i would reco 290 first.. cuz in the next 6-8 months 800 series GPU would be out and from the info it should be 20% faster then 780 and cheaper too so i wont suggest u jump too deep on this)
Superflower HX600 600w 80+ Gold PSU
Xigmatek Odin
Samsung DVD Drive (Optional)
Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit OEM

this RIG wont cost u more then 40k baht and it will run max on most game (Unless u wanna play watchdog) be smart when u build a rig mate no 1 rig is future proof
