Yoshimura TRC - Versys

I've managed to find an exhaust specialised garage to solder a bung in the Yoshimura TRC mid-pipe. I have to say the guy did a pretty messy job as he badly scratched the mid pipe while drilling, soldering and grinding excess solder. fortunately it's only the mid pipe so not really visible, but still a bit pissed by the less than professional end result, although functional!

Anyhow next step will be to seal off those pair valves. I'm looking for those silicon caps that Tonybkk recommended in some thread but can't seem to find them anywhere. Any ideas?

I hear this all the time about bad welding...Why not go to a shop that tigs day and night making ss gates...you can easily look at their work as its on display..

Because at the time an exhaust shop seemed to me like the most adequate place to do it... But obviously I was wrong! Let's see if the welding holds! If not I'll try your recommendation.
