My daughter is booked on Emirates EK371 and has a bit of a wait at the airport. It appears there are several lounges to choose from - does anyone know which would be the best to choose for her departure gate.

Thanks.

Emirates own lounge might be the best option?

This is only available for business/first class (unfortunately!)

Or if you're a Gold or Platinum Qantas Frequent Flyer...

The lounges are only for members or 1st/business class.

If you're flying cattle class you have to sit with the great unwashed in the general seating area.

If she can't get into the EK lounge (which is by far the best option) then the only paid lounge options are the Louis Tavern airside lounges at THB900/3 hours.

She might be able to pay to use the EK lounge which would probably cost $30 - $45. I'm just comparing to Middle East prices.

I really hope that EK don't allow paying guests at BKK, if they did it might end up like the human zoo that is the Oryx lounge in Doha, what an absolute hell hole that is (or at least it was yesterday).

Same as KLIA, a good idea in theory, but as they're not selective with who enters it can get rather rowdy...

As far as I know, Emirates does not offer one-off entry for a fee in Bangkok ( could be wrong?). The lounge is excellent...makes THAI look a sick joke in comparison

BKK EK lounge does not allow paying costumers.
