Not until I read this article did I know that I – and you all – can vote for the official World Cup 2006 slogan of any and all countries participating in the games.

And it seems you can vote an unlimited number of times. I voted twice for the Englishman’s entry for France’s slogan (Liberté, Egalité, Jules Rimet!) and it worked.

It’s up to whether you want to vote, and for what country, for what slogan.

Sorry, Thailand is not among the participating countries :o

The Japanese, I see, have it with the Samurai. Will the whole team commit hara-kiri if they don’t make at least to the quarter finals?

You only have until Monday to vote!

I, too, meant to check whether the count is going up and yesterday at 13:57 GMT took a note of it being 1916 votes. You saw it at 1942 votes, presumably a bit later, and now, at 12:42 GMT the counter stands at 1962 votes for Liberté..., second place now stands at 1458.

Anybody who wishes to vote, got to this web page.

You’re right Redrus, it does seem to accept only one vote per voter. Probably, their server looks at the voter’s IP address.

Thanks for the votes guys.

Looks like I won BUT Hyundai are being a bit slow in contacting the winners. It appears that Hyundai France weren't expecting a foreign winner.

Cheers!

In case you didn't know the winner gets their slogan plastered over their chosen team bus.

They also get two tickets, flights and two nights accommodation for the opening match.
