Foreigners dump Thai shares

BANGKOK: -- Though the Stock Exchange of Thailand index gained 0.70 per cent to 1,383.89 points today, the Thai maket has apparently lost its attractiveness among foreign investors.

Foreign investors remained net-sellers, with net-sell position at Bt5.92 billion.

In two days, their net-sell is worth over Bt12 billion, pushing year-to-date net-sell to Bt165.6 billion.

More sell is expected, with weak economic data, the tapering in the US and political protests at home
