Fees for Chiang Rai Public High Schools

I am curious to find out what fees some of you may pay on an annual basis for a kid to go to any of the CR public high schools? To include uniforms/books/tuition.....per year ...the amount that you actually pay TO the school itself.

Please advise what you pay and the school name if possible. It would be for any grade between 9 and 12.

I'm trying to do some comparison for one of the Thai teachers who strangely doesn't seem to know what the fees might be.

Sorry can't help you with the fees but If the costs are like BKK then it is the add ons like excursions, uniform changes,new uniforms when they outgrow them, sports costs , paying to fix the exam results etc rather than the fees that are the biggest expense .

When my step son was going to a school in Pa Daet they even had to buy into life insurance as a compulsory add-on. Can only guess who the beneficiary would be .

6000 bsht per term (6mths) plus around 5000 baht for school uniforms etc so 17,000 baht for 12mths basic. Excursions etc extra. School is up the road from Overbrook Hospital. Sorry, don't recall the exact name.
