Russian TV

Featured Replies

I have some guests who are desperate for Russian TV channels over the New Year period.

Do any of you out there have any ideas on where to buy/rent a system for this?

Ch 27 or 28 on Samui cable is Russian.

Thanks for that evadgib. Unfortunately Samui Cable won't service our area. Not enough potential subscribers.

PS you are a star! clap2.gif

What the <deleted> does that one say? I will copy and paste, print it out and give to my guests to look at.

Any other ideas welcome folks.

Merry Christmas to you all.

OK as far as I can tell - this channel is about info on Samui for Russians in Russian.

Unfortunately, my guests are looking for channels that show what is happening in their motherland on NYE and then for their Christmas (7/1?)

Thank you for trying guys - but strike 3 so far.

Nothing on UBC that I can find either.

I remember seeing some ads for Russian TV channel. It's a huge sign near the car entrance to Tesco Chaweng. Just behind "Pizza Hug" underneath that big chimney which looks like a palm tree.

Thank you for trying to help people.

Looks like a no go here on Samui (unless you are near a cable outlet)!

Thank you for trying to help. I have arranged for them to go to a local hotel for a Russian Christmas party on the 7th.

(I think that we can close this one thank you mods.)

I watch Russian TV online but I guess that's not an option for your guests, given the image quality and frequent playback speed issues.

Correct. They only have iphones and the TOT internet speed at the moment is not that good either.

As per OP request Closed.
