Hey there. =)

I'm relatively new to the island, and am looking to find directions or an actual address for any of the Thailand Post offices here, something I could tell my taxi driver.

Google maps pin points me one in mae nam (it is close to where I stay in bophut), but offers nothing else. I would be highly grateful to anyone who is familiar with the mae nam branch, or others, to offer me directions, if not with the contact details of that particular office.. None of this info is on their website!

It would be pretty cool to have a number to call, so I could just have the post office speak to the driver in their native tongue.

I think knowing the actual address won't do you much good, as apart from the mailman nobody knows exactly where what number to find. I am sure the taxi driver will know the post office though. Ask for 'praisanee'.

I looked up how to say post office in google translate, just to be sure how to say that. Haha ^ ^

Thanks for that! And now with a picture of the map I have, perhaps I'm good to go.

Yes you are good to go but wait for Monday if they are open.

The Chaweng one is on the Ring Road. From Bophut, pass Big C on left, Tesco on right, keep going straight at traffic lights, about 400 yards on left.

Samui Ring Road, Chaweng

107/8 Moo 6, Tambon Bo Phut

Koh Samui, Suratthani, 84320 Thailand

Tel: 0 7742 2101

Happened by the Maenam Post office, today.... pretty hard to miss ! On the right side headed toward Nathon direction.

They all have this red and white "logo or sign"

Dont expect a taxi driver to be able to read a map. ;) From my experience it rather wont work out.

Anyhow they should all know the location of post offices.
