Microsoft Office Language

Featured Replies

Bought a new notebook last week and on getting it home I found that the Office toolbars were in Thai, (Word, Excel, Powerpoint etc).

Does anybody know a way to change the language to english ?

Generally your language settings will be in the Regional Settings under control panel. If you have problems, let me know by email <[email protected]> which operating system and which version of Office (97? 2000? 2002? 2003?) you are using and I can send you the directions with screenshots.

In the start, program menu,

see whether you can find 'Change Microsoft Office Language Settings' a small program that will give you the option to change.

more precisely :

click on the START button

then in the list you will go on Programms, then Office Programms, then you will find it

Go to start->programs->Microsoft office->Office tools and there should be a 'Microsoft Office Language settings' when activated there should be a setting on the first tab that allows you to change the language of the menu's. It will probably ask for the installation CD to change, and also that the installation you have supports the language you wish to change to.

Cheers...........kandt :o
