big fire there now 4:30 Sunday 1/19

Chiang Mai Mail have posted on Facebook that the fire was on an upper floor at the back of the building, has now been extinguished and the mall is open for business.

May be its just some photoshop trick as source from cm108 said it's just a fire from over heated wok.

I was in Tops supermarket around 17:30. I noticed nothing out of the ordinary as I was there. From the outside I probably didn't look up, but I saw no smoke and no one outside was acting in an unusual manner. The photo seems hard to believe.

I was there around 2-2:30 pm and there was definitely some smoke in the AC system,but we've left at that time and I haven't noticed any fire action.

My wife has confirmed,that there was a report of fire of some sort in the back,but not big enough to alarm people..hmmm

We ate dinner there this evening, then shopped on the third floor. Didn't notice anything amiss.

I was on the roof at the swimming pool. it was a big cloud of smoke, but was quickly extinguished. 5 minutes total.

Thank God nothing serious with KSK,

Without KSK Chiang Mai would lose a major attraction.

Yes KSK has become a symbol of CM. I think in some ways it is like the old Cloudland Ballroom in Brisbane. If they ever want to pull it down it will have to be done in the middle of the night when no one is watching.
