Where to shop for expat food products in Phuket?

Featured Replies

New in Phuket after being away for 7 years. Where can an expat from Canada buy familiar food products. I discovered from reading this forum that Don"s Place is no longer. Any suggestions

Tops. Deli Super Market. A little at Makro

Moved to Phuket Forum.

All of the above definitely have more to offer than Don's did all those years ago. Things have changed greatly in 7 years in regards to expat food availability.

Central mall in phuket town has a good grocery store

than Villa

than tops

Big C Extra Patong......Casino Brand products and good bread. Jagota in Thalang .

Villa Market, there are 3 - Chalong, Patong, and Laguna/Chern Talay.

Yes certainly the best selection with the Chalong store being the best stocked (certainly more so than Patong anyway).

Thanks to everyone for the info. I couldn't seem to find the Villa Market in Chalong though and eveyrtime we asked a Thai they didn't seem to know either. If anyone could give me some directions and also the directions to Jagota it would be much appreciated.

It is in the mini complex which also houses HomePro, a couple of cafes/restaurants and a few small shops, just 100 metres north of the big Chalong roundabout (circle) on the left.

Plenty of room for parking inside. Don't know about Jagota, sorry.

Villa Mart

Family mart and Villa market merge into one company?

If you find some farang food you like in Villa Mart and its non perishable you better buy it in bulk, you might not see again for months. They want to sortout how they order there goods, not a good system.
