Info on a bar please

Hi all,

Do any of you regulars know of a bar called Guy's bar and restaurant?

It is in Chalong and I have had one friend recommend it to me and another friend said it is rubbish.

You didn't ask that question in your OP, Zero. You asked if anyone knew of it! I assumed you wanted to know where it was so you could try it out for yourself.

I would not even ask if I was in Phuket allready.

If I can find out before I arrive, it will save me some time as it is not close to where I will be staying.

All depends on what you want.

It is not a girlie bar,more a bar for local expats and they do decent Indian curry.

Why not go and try it yourself? Make your own judgement based on your experience.

Making an assumption based on location and picture on facebook again shows you didn't really care for feedback.

Used to be good when the bar was originally located in Chalong Plaza.

Not so good since the bar moved to it's present location and the owner's missus did a runner (she was one of the attractions).

Quiz nights on alternate Tuesdays can be good.

Ironically, we drove that road earlier this evening, needing to get from Chaofa West to East, and I actually saw the place (so it does indeed exist!). Probably a hundred metres or so from Rimtang restaurant (which is almost directly opposite the rear entrance to Wat Chalong).

Probably 5.30 to 6 pm. , didn't see anybody inside. Can't comment on the menu of course.

I don't "think" anything. I know where Guy's Bar is. If your comprehension skills were any good, you would have read my directions to it and known that.
