is it just me or are other people having a difficult time connecting lately
i get a wifi signal and i even tried connecting directly to the modem
but nada
in this case its true though my back up air card sometimes does the trick

BTV cable internet working fine in Naklua.

Yes, there were a couple of times in the past few days when 3BB was quite slow... almost grinding to a halt. The slowdown didn't seem to last very long. Right now it's OK.

Generally speaking, internet service here is always teetering on the edge. I have yet to be able to do an iPhone backup to iCloud because the signal drops regularly whether using 3G or landline. (It's another issue that the iPhone can't pick up from where it stops. Grrr!)

As I was driving home up Soi Siam Country Club at the market area just before 7pm I noticed a severe wobbling of the overhead cables on the righthand side and street lights flickered and then went out. I figured either someone had hit a pole or something had actually struck these cables. Sure enough when I got home internet was down so I guess one of those cables was for internet. It was all fixed just after lunch today and service working fine with Sophon Cable Internet.

True ultra speed were doing maintenance (again) and were down from about 8 p.m. last night, came back on about 10 a.m. this morning. There was a message on their service number 1686 explaining this.

Ahhh ... it could have been True service guys that interfered with all those Soi Siam Country Club cables about that time ?

3bb 13Mb Package for 960 Baht very slow and a lot of data package losses here in Jomtien. I called the support today...so far no answer.
