Does anyone know a good brand name of cat litter that I can be here in Cnx?

The two brands that I bought so far are rubbish.

Seeing as there are dozens of different 'types' of cat little, from clumping and non-clumping clays, odor-controlling clays, bentonite, sand, plastic beads, plastic logs, etc., etc., how about giving us some idea of just what 'good' cat litter means to you. We all have our own preferences.

First of all, your widest selection of litter would be found at Raksat Overseas pet shop on super highway, Lampang-bound exactly opposite the Yok baking supply store. And for me, the best brand is Cat's Best, from Germany. It's biodegradable, compostable, smells fresh, & has no clay for cats to lick and ingest. You can scoop out poop with almost no litter attached and dispose of in toilet, and scoop up clumps of pee 2-3 times a day to keep it lasting longest. With several cats there's a chance of it getting scratched and broken up. Have to be sure to maintain a good depth.....all cats of mine have loved to use our litter boxes....they come in from outside to go to the toilet, especially in the rainy season, of course.

All we can find are those two brands of round little round clay balls. Those little balls get caught between cat toes and then bounce and roll a great distance on ceramic tile floors.

Oh, it's nothing special about cats coming inside to use the litter box. When we adopted our kitten from the soi, we lived in a townhouse and let him in-and-out, but really didn't want him out on the soi where the tomcats roamed. Once we saw that he was coming in to use the litter box for all his business, we decided it was time to have him neutered and turn him into a inside-only cat. Much longer life span that way.

We put a square of 'welcome mat,' the woven plastic kind that looks like drunk carpeting, in front of the litter box. When the cat jumps out, 'most' of litter gets trapped right there, with only the occasional bit to be stepped on in the dark... It's reduced a lot of cursing in this house.
