"To be or not to be . . ."wasn't the question here. But in any case thanks for telling everybody in those new posts, so everybody can make a better selection who to socialize with . . . and who not! :o

I hope that somehow the Club can accomodate all our needs.

It would be a great pity for the KEC to die so soon after birth.

It certainly has not died yet in spite of some not well thought off posts in the recent past on this thread. Everybody who is still interested to get this project going is invited to join the discussion at this location:

I have been following with interest the updates about Korat Immigration doing annual visa renewals now and find myself drawn to trying this location on my next renewal in 2007. Because of that I will probably pay my 1st visit from where I live in Buriram (between Prakhon Chai & Prassat) to Korat within the next couple of months.

I have been noticing the many references to Pasinee Restaurant and read on one of the threads that there was a website. I did a search and was presented with a lot of correspondences, of which I have been through a few, but no sign of website yet. Could you please post it up as a reply to me on this thread if possible.

Without wishing to interfere in your Expat club attempts, I lived in Pattaya for 5 years prior to moving to Buriram and saw some of the real benefits a good expat club can bring to the local fraternity, both socially and in a more in depth situation if you wanted to go that far later on, exactly how the PCEC and PEC developed. (There was also a "Settling in" period in both cases too). I do hope that you manage to settle things out and form something that can in my eyes only bring benefit to all in the area.

I look forward to meeting some of you in the future. We also have a small get together every Saturday afternoon in TimeOut ...... www.bankadon.com/ if any of you fancy a drive down sometime....good fishing too for any anglers amongst you too.

All the best...........RayBan :o
