To answer your question, moderation can be a litter lighter here, but don't push it, swearing is frowned upon, but that's by the imates generally, L.M is completely outta bounds, don't go there.

For the more serious topics try outside the box, that can be a little hairy, for a laugh you could start a topic on Israel, but I assure you I could post the same response from the same posters if you do, another one is just casually mention Ireland, that is like a garden tea party too.

Otherwise, it is fairly easy going here, unless you are looking to get banned and then its even easier.

But in all seriousness, they're dirty little creatures, they piss and then stand in it, later they lick their little paws and other bits, I always cringe when I goto the cat owners home and see their little pussy all over the kitchen bench and I bet they often wonder why I decline all offers for food and beverage.
