Ladyboy arrested after suspected theft from Pakistan man on Pattaya Beach.

Police Captain Somporn from Pattaya Police Station received a complaint from Mr. Saheed Ahmed aged 32 from Pakistan in the early hours of Sunday Morning. He mentioned that he was approached by a ladyboy as he was walking along the Central section of Pattaya Beach, in front of the Nova Lodge Hotel.

The ladyboy came very close to the man and asked him if he wanted to accompany him to a hotel. He refused his advances and left. Some moments later he realized that some cash had been stolen from his pocket. A full description of the suspect was circulated amongst officers and the ladyboy, who competed in this year’s Miss Tiffany Universe Competition, was located further along the beach and taken to Pattaya Police Station.

He was positively identified by the victim and 3,000 Baht in cash, which had been stolen, was recovered. Records indicated that the suspect, Khun Napat aged 24 had been arrested on numerous occasions for selling sex on the beach and for theft. He is now safely behind bars and will appear in court within the next few days.

He/she will be fined, released and allowed to return to Beach Road where he/she will again sell sex and rip off farangs to pay for the fine.

Uh huh, and just what was he doing trolling along Beach Road "in the early hours" ? And "she" was able to lift 3,000 baht out of his pocket without him noticing until "some moments later" ?

Last time I was down there "in the early hours", the non-Thai people I saw weren't there for a pleasant early morning fitness walk.

Truth is, he was trying to pick "her" up. "She" was getting "friendly" with him. He didn't like "her" price. He left to pursue other options and realized he'd already been screwed !

I expect they're probably on a first name basis with some of these perps.

The penalties are so rediculously low that I'm sure they consider it just a cost of doing "business".

The night in the lock-up can't be a pleasant experience for the katoey though. Don't expect she got a lot of sleep that night.....

Well the police station isnt that far from there, and I suspect the ladyboy in question didnt leave the immediate area.
