Showbags
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a Thai, Party leader, with an inspiration to become PM. God help us. catmac
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a Thai candidate, with an inspiration to become PM. God help us. At least this guy has the balls to do his best to vote whilst undemocratic scum try to stop him An election in which you can vote either for the government or Chuvit is democratic? Ask your Dem Party as to why that is, h90. No point blaming anyone else but your own side.
isawasnake
He is the only Thai man I can think of who I respect and like. This guy shows up to vote, some a--holes try to stop him, he grapples with them. What is not to like about that? I wish more people handled things like him. People are too peaceful nowadays. Think about it... you go to try and vote and somebody tries to stop you! That is a big freaking deal, that is what people died to give you the right to do in many cases. I think he acted in exemplar fashion, showed some passion, and hopefully he got to vote. And, of course he did not file a police report.
worgeordie
Well he did not run away like the little coward with the ear problems did,the other week, when he was confronted by protesters. regards Worgeordie

brewsterbudgen
Hahaha yes he has been strangely silent during the protests. Guess there has not been any police owned casinos to shut down... :-) Also strange he would seek confrontation. Guess he is not aware of the old saying " the enemy of my enemy is my friend". By silent do you mean vocal? Both rejecting Sutheps request for him to join and urging people to go vote? I am a bit confused......Why in the world is he encouraging people to go vote , when in essence only YIngluck's name is on the ballot? Is the previous status quo of Thaksin and his clones looting the country somehow beneficial to Chuwit ? Maybe Thai people are right, farang cannot understand " Thainess"....... Er, I would imagine he's voting for himself, as his name and his party are on the ballot! Why do people continue to fail recognise that there are many different people and parties standing in the election??

tx22cb
Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a Thai, Party leader, with an inspiration to become PM. God help us. Total fabrication on your part - it is a pity that 9 people took your claim at face value and "Liked" it. In the days leading up to the elections, Chuwit gave several interviews, and each time Chuwit stated that he wants to remain as an Opposition party MP. He said he knows he has a "negative" nature, which is appropriate for him to be in the Opposition so he can ask questions of the Govt. He said he has no "aspirations" to be part of the Government, let alone be the PM (i.e. diametrically opposite to your statement). I like reading your opinions in your posts, but I hate it when you present the product of your fertile imagination as facts, and thereby potentially mislead others. Respectfully yrs.
promatrix
"After the brawl, Chuwit returned home without voting. He said he would not file a complaint with police." He won't file a complaint? toybits
Before saying that you do not like Taksin, try to get to know Mr. Suthep a little bit more. You might find out more about Mr. Suthep from Mr. Chuvit. Then, make a judgement... Ladies and Gentlemen, this is a Thai, Party leader, with an inspiration to become PM. God help us. Well I would prefer him 1000 times before any other Shinawatra....At least he has something like a mafia style honor.... Brawl with the protesters....but we won't need the police......A Shinawatra would sue them for 1 wrong word.....They opened 500 law suits against Sondhi only for his speeches.... As Chuvit is the only one who worked himself in an open market and is surely 1000 % smarter than the current PM.

Cricketnut
"After the brawl, Chuwit returned home without voting. He said he would not file a complaint with police." He won't file a complaint? Just a thought why...maybe from the OP "Rak Prathet Thai party leader Chuwit Kamolvisit and his guards engaged in a brawl" "Chuwit was seen on Channel 9 head-locking a man and repeatedly hitting him." Thailand: The HUB of Shenanigans At least Chuwit is entertaining !!!!! Is he still a MP, he seems to have been quiet on his Anti Corruption Campaign for the last 6 months? Chuwit is a dangerous, volatile and violent man. I find him scary, not entertaining at all. His posters scare the bejeezus out of me. At least he is a man of principle, scary or not.Sent from my i-mobile i-STYLE 8.2 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

So he gets to look like a tough guy in front of the media when he decides to stand In the next election would be as good a reason as any to have a fake scuffle in the news Why didn't they just hold the guy and have him arrested, they had plenty of bodyguards if they chose to bring the attacker to to a copshop
smileydude
Chuwit is just like the dog he has on his election posters. (Bull terrier) He's good as an attack dog like Chalerm if he's on your side. Unleash him and he goes rabid. Lots of bark and tenaciousness on his bite. Great for showmanship but otherwise his substance and strategy is limited. Sorry if I've offended any dog lovers.
