TechnikaIII
It seems simple enough to me. "Those who live by the sword, die by the sword." If you choose aggression and fighting as your way of life, and travel to other lands with this as your mantra, and you get the shit beaten out of you, maybe you will learn something, and maybe not. To each his own.
TechnikaIII
Didn't see the brutality in the article and seems the foreigners are willing fighters that aren't prisoners. Exactly ! The nature of the comments indicates the low level of intellect of so many TV members.
BossBar
What's the problem it's Thai Culture, if anyone who is not Thai and is living in Thailand does not like it surely they are free to go back home. We keep saying the same things to other cultures religions etc that come to our countries that if they do not like it they are free to leave. To many hypocrites around who do not put their brain into gear before thinking.
Jonmarleesco
Somewhat ironic if they are in prison for assault, in the first place.
peterpaintpot
Once again after you think that you have heard it all in Thailand, you realise that you haven't! Absolutely unbelievably stupid. And the next item on Thailand Live Today was; someone deploring the senseless violence and killing in Bangkok and elsewhere in the LOS at the moment - can't they see the link here? I've heard they have beauty contests in Bang Kwang as well. Those guys not making the grade go for the kick boxing.................
Kularion
Just FYI Those are normal Muay Thai fights where participation where prisoners can attend but don't have to. Inmates have possibility to prepare themselves for fight (training etc). Just read something and look pictures about this event first please : https://www.facebook.com/prisonfight Edited February 26, 2014 by Kularion
Hedghog
Make it real. Go barefisted. Last man standing, Main event, sex offenders,vs the aggrieved family. Then put it on pay per view.

kunnatee
Take non-violent prisoners and teach them how to hurt others. Take violent criminals and teach them to harm more efficiently. And if they get violent enough, release them. The guys who had this wonderful idea should take place behind the bars instead of the non-violent prisoners. After "Amazing Thailand", the next slogan should be "Welcome to the Middle Ages". Edited February 26, 2014 by kunnatee

If you care to watch the undisputed series again or just part 2 he lost to the hero in part 2 he was the bad guy in undisputed 2. Michael Jai white looks and fights more awesomely than him. Gives them all something to aim at and work towards. Then if they beat one, they get out and will be thankful to farang forever. Should be some money in taking dives for the foreigners....the bigger the crim...the bigger the fee. A good thing? So the thug that mugged you and raped your wife goes to prison. Then, a few months later, for beating up a farang wannabe kick boxer, he is released. Justice? I would imagine/hope serious crime such as this would not be eligible for such things. We'd like to think so, but I think the report quoted a prison official as saying murderers won't be released (implying other types of criminal could be)

Seriously i wonder why didn't anyone mention chuck norris. He's said to be able to bend light and stop time and do a split on 2 airplanes. Fighting some inmates in a thai prison is a piece of cake.
