Fabulous Korean ‘walking-stick’ ice-cream lands in Bangkok

Thailand:-- The craze for all things Korean has brought a new peculiar treat, the “walking stick ice-cream” for locals to taste and take selfies with.

“Gi Pang Yi,” a Korean soft-served vanilla ice-cream brand has recently landed two carts in Bangkok, and has gained a fair amount of attention from locals who are curious and happy to whip out three 20-baht bills to try the weird-looking ice-cream.

The gimmick of the Gi Pang Yi is the cornmeal cone shaped like a walking stick. Well that’s what they say, thought it looks more like an ice cream snorkel.

The cones are claimed by the owner to be thicker and tastier than normal cones.
