Buy plain cotton T-shirts in Bangkok?

Where can I buy plain cotton T-shirts in Bangkok? (BTS/MRT)

Just plain - no design, no artwork, no elephants, tuk-tuks, or beer motifs, no slogans, no designer labels, no logos, no fashion statements, no V-necks. Not extortionately priced. (Actually, I haven't managed to find them at ANY price.)

Just a plain T-shirt. Maybe a multi-pack with a couple of colours.

I'm a simple guy - and I hate shopping at the best of times. I just need some T-shirts.

If there's no way to buy them new - are there second-hand shops?

where are you from ? In my homecountry, I can buy a stack of 10 plain unicolour Fruit-of-the-Loom t-shirts for 2 Euros each from the online grossists . . .do not have to be in Thailand for this purpose.

check the internet in your homecountry for wholesellers . . also mind the quality of the seams, the style, colour and cut ( V-neck or plain round neck),

weight of fabric (grams per square cm), etc etc.

check this:

http://www.textil-grosshandel.eu/fruit-of-the-loom-valueweight-t.html

the price starts at 1,75 Euros

Try UNIQLO or H&M - both stores can be found in Paragon - they have nice plain shirts ranging from 190 - 300 baht each.

Failing that, the underwear sections at BIG C or Lotus also have a fair selection for around 100 baht a pop.

MBK "No Problem" I think third floor?

Still wearing a set of plain black ones I bought twelve years ago - but now they're grey, down to maybe eight since some got holes, but good quality and a very nice sturdy fabric, nothing fancy.

I buy my plain cotton tshirts in the UK at Primark. Much better and much cheaper than here. The same applies to shoes, socks, jeans, bedlinen, towels, tea-cloths, you name it. The list goes on and on and on.

Manufactured items here are often extremely poor value for money. Most processed food items are also much cheaper in the UK (and even many unprocessed ones). And I'm not just talking about items that are imported into Thailand.

I agree entirely with that, best shop I found for quality verses price is Uniqlo, they have a store basement Central Festival Pattaya, great plain t-shirts and polo's with no logo's, only problem is they don't really cater for larger farangs, jeans and trousers only go up to 34 waist and polo's, even at extra large, are tight

poor quality and full of logos - assume he's not talking undershirts here

other places mentioned are expensive and wear quicker compared to No Problem

Bump.

If you mean proper nice soft cotton t-shirts without a plastic content try 'cotton on' in Mega Bang Na on the stretch between Big C and Robinsons. Found it on Saturday.

Plain and patterned/writing available. 489 baht or 2 for 900.

Oh it felt so nice changing into it.

Oh and cotton shorts. My goolies were in heaven.

Absolutely! Same here, best quality T's in Thailand without a doubt. Still look fresh after 10 years
