What is going on with BBX? (the business owners' member card, like Bartercard)

They keep sending us (and I assume all members) crazy emails about changes in their company / ownership structure... is it a scam or what?

it's just a member card for business owners to do barter deals

lots of emails from different people arguing (and cc'ing all card members) about changes in ownership, billing, etc

thought someone here might know what's going on but it's not really important

I have been asked for my business to join. I would be interested in seeing knowing what is going on before I make my decision.

I have now heard that the emails referred to 2 of the directors being fired due to several months of non-payment to BBX head office in Oz!!!

i've been getting emails from 2 different companies BBX thailand and BBX International both claiming to be the new BBX

I am the new National Franchise Director for BBX in Thailand. Unfortunately the last franchise owner was terminated and he and his team have attempted to start a new Trade exchange.

BBX is a company started in Australia and all memberships are with BBX International (Hong Kong) not the local franchise. This is for the safety and security of the members.

In this case the ex-staff of the old franchise owner have taken member information and attempted to start a similar business with similar name. This has caused much confusion with the members and we have just completed a number of Member Meetings in Pattaya and Bangkok to clarify what’s going on. The ex-Franchise team named there new venture TBBX and now we understand it’s been renamed again to TBX.

I am very pleased to report that the members we meet are happy to go back to trading as normal and are happy with the new more experienced management team. Unlike its competitors BBX is a truly international trade exchange with clear focus on the Asia Pacific region.

BBX in Thailand is the fastest growing BBX trade exchange in the world with hundreds of members signing up and trading already over THB 80’000’000+ in March 2014.

Other than a change in local Management nothing has changed and many Thai members are happily trading as normal.
